NEI focuses on applied economic research and consulting work including technical assistance, transfer of knowledge and training. It cherishes its independence from partial interest. By setting particular weight on the quality of its services it has gained and retained the confidence of a large number of clients.

Clients worldwide
NEI currently provides its services to public and private sector clients from around the world. These clients include major industrial companies, sector organisations, national, regional and local governments, and international organisations such as the European Commission and United Nations agencies. ECORYS-NEI also works for international financing institutions such as the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Asian Development Bank, the African Development Bank, and the Inter-American Development Bank.
